As far as the history of the English monarchy is concerned, there have been many low points. To name a few:

  1. Charles I tried and executed by Parliamentarians at Whitehall
  2. Entire reign of King John
  3. This.

From approximately 0:22 to 0:24, I think he manages one move, but even a broken clock is right twice a day. Lest you need reminding: European royalty never had much luck or skill when it comes to breaking it down.

An exception is found (but when is it not?) in France’s Louis XIV, who, in addition to personifying the idea of the Divine Right of Kings, also did his level best to exercise his DIVINE RIGHT OF THE DANCE FLOOOOOOR!!
